Getting Started With Ledger®
Welcome to the official Ledger® login wallet setup guide. If you're new to Ledger devices or looking to securely manage your cryptocurrency, this step-by-step overview will walk you through the essential steps to activate and log in to your wallet using Ledger Live.

📥 Step 1: Download Ledger Live
- Go to ledger.com/start
- Select your Ledger model (Nano S, S Plus, or Nano X)
- Download Ledger Live for Windows, macOS, Linux, or mobile
- Install and open the application
🔐 Step 2: Initialize Your Device
- Connect your device via USB or Bluetooth
- Choose “Set up as new device”
- Create a secure PIN code (4 to 8 digits)
- Write down your 24-word recovery phrase — never share it!
- Verify the recovery phrase on your device
⚠️ Security Tip: Ledger will never ask for your recovery phrase. Do not enter it on any website or app other than the Ledger device itself.
🔓 Step 3: Log In to Your Wallet
- Open Ledger Live and click on “Get Started”
- Connect your Ledger device
- Use your PIN to unlock
- Ledger Live will verify the device and complete login
📦 Step 4: Install Crypto Apps
- In Ledger Live, go to the “Manager” tab
- Install apps for the coins you want to manage (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum)
- Each app lets the device communicate with that blockchain
💼 Step 5: Add Accounts & Start Transacting
- Switch to the “Accounts” tab in Ledger Live
- Click “Add Account” and follow prompts for your chosen crypto
- Once added, you can receive, send, and monitor your assets
